The online classroom with Q&A was delivered on Tuesday 18 July 2023.  

This online classroom aimed at criminal and civil legal aid solicitors at all levels of PQE will provide an update on the proposals for changes to the Legal Aid Means Test published by the Ministry of Justice. Our experts will discuss what the changes are, when they are happening, and all you need to know to be ready for them. 

Widened eligibility to free legal advice is an important step in the right direction and will see at least six million more people eligible for legal advice and representation. This is an opportunity to receive a detailed overview of the changes. Hear from our experts:

  • Madeleine van Oss, the lead Civil Servant at the Ministry of Justine covering the Legal Aid Means Test
